Colchester Youth Awards Partnership is a collection of organisations keen to promote a positive image of young people in the Borough. The aim of these awards is to highlight and celebrate the success of young people and their continued commitment to the community in and around Colchester.

Colchester Youth Awards Partnership treats the issue of confidentiality and storing of personal data as a matter of paramount importance. CYA can advise that all submitted Nomination Forms are securely stored and dealt with by members of the partnership all of which have CRB clearance.

CYA also acknowledges that the information contained within the submitted Nomination forms will be of a personal and sensitive nature, and therefore requires the young person to sign the consent box on the nomination form before it can be accepted, in order that we are satisfied that the young person in question is happy with the wording and to share their story. This information will not be shared with any third party.

All nomination forms will be confidentially destroyed as soon as the event has taken place. The CYA Secretary will keep your contact details electronically on a password protected database.
